Jeff graduated from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas with a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture and a minor in Business Administration. He is a licensed architect in the States of Texas, New Mexico and Oklahoma and is NCARB certified.
Jeff began his career at the prestigious Dallas based firm of HKS. While there, he performed as Job Captain on many high profile projects such as the new "Ball Park in Arlington", the Texas Rangers' major league baseball stadium. Jeff was also project coordinator for First Bank Place, a fifty-six story high rise bank and office building in downtown Minneapolis, MN. Jeff then went to the Las Colinas based firm of FDS International, where he was project architect for several low and mid-rise medical facilities. Because of his desire to be more involved in the complete construction process, Jeff began working for the design/build firm of McCathren Associates in Abilene, TX, where he designed and constructed several bank buildings and school projects.
In 1996 he was hired by a regional design and construction company to be its Manager of Architecture and was promoted to Vice President, a position he held until January 2003. In January 2003 he became co-owner, along with Ken Rogers and John White, of his own company, Financial Design and Construction, Inc., where he is involved in every aspect of the business, with his primary concentration being financial building design consultation.
