Responsibilities-Education-Experience

John White's extensive knowledge and 25 years in the construction industry have made him totally qualified to meet the responsibilities of his position as Chief Operating Officer. In his position, he has total responsibility for estimating all jobs and overseeing all projects including directly supervising our project managers.

John is also involved with sales, architectural and engineering coordination, bidding and subcontractor evaluation and works with our architect in the selection and coordination of the interior design process.

John studied Engineering at the University of Texas and put his knowledge to use in 1978 as Project Superintendent for Dresslin Construction in Abilene, Texas. During his time with Dresslin, he was responsible for construction of government projects ranging from $1-4 million dollars.

In 1979 John joined Bohannon Development in El Paso, Texas as Project Superintendent. His responsibilities included the construction of multi-family housing projects, ranging from $8-15 million dollars.

In 1984 Mr. White was hired as Project Manager for RANCO, Inc. of El Paso, Texas, where he began working with RANCO's owner, Roger Neal. In this position, John was responsible for construction and total coordination of architects, engineers and interior design personnel in the completion of new and renovation of existing financial institution buildings.

When, in 1988, Mr. Neal developed a new design and construction firm, John continued in his role as Project Manager. In 1997, John was promoted to Sr. Vice President & Manager of Construction, a position he held until January 2003. While working as Project Manager and later as Sr. Vice President & Manager of Construction, John supervised the construction of over 170 financial buildings.

In January 2003 John became co-owner, along with Ken Rogers and Jeffrey White, of his own company, Financial Design and Construction.
